you have to go to the latest download, put the data in your data folder, put the orient campaign in your campaigns folder and then put teh campaign map into the camnpaign map folder. than put the scripts into your appliccation data/creative assembly/ napoleon total war/ scripts. than download the zulu pack and put both files in your data folder! enjoy! - Senior MemberPosts: 3,194Registered UsersIs there any way to have two versions of Napoleon so I can have vanilla and this mod installed? Or an easy way to switch?

copy your data folder and name the original data1. then rename the new folder data and back up your scripts. then put the files as directed above into the new folder. your all set to play!Is there any way to have two versions of Napoleon so I can have vanilla and this mod installed? Also if you are worried about not getting back to vanilla, Mitch at the total War Center came out with a tool for that, its not mod manager, its a bit different, its an easier way to look at the data folder, here, have a link: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=396175
(also the mod manager work well too) - edited March 2011I'm new, obviously. I've bought NTW so that I could play the Zulu and Khartom mods. I reenact the period and that's what attracted me to the game. It's now 5 hours later and about 30 supposedly 'downloads' later and I've achieved nothing. Is there an actual link to somewhere that doesn't seem to want money to download this or can someone give me step by step instructions on how to do this?
I've managed to previously download the English Civil War mod for Medievil Total War without this much trouble, but quit frankly, I'm at a loss for this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. - edited March 2011Flag0·Like
- edited February 2012I am trying to download this Mod. With Megaupload now closed I have been unable to find another download link. Please can someone help.
I run windows 8.1 and Napoleon total war will not work. All other steam games work fine, and Napoleon total war worked fine on my old laptops (windows 7 and mac). I have tried asking in steam support, steam community, TW center, and the TW forums, but none have been able to help making me think it may be a Windows issue. FYI: i use NO MODS. The game is pure vanilla.
As for my computer specs - I am running an MSI GT80 SLI-263 on Windows 8.1, with dual GTX 980Ms.
Google docs preview. In the Max field, you will need to add a value higher than the largest plotting number you've entered in your data table. You can open the Chart editor at any time by double-clicking your visual. Here, click on the Vertical axis section to open it.Type '0' in the text field under Min.
The main issue is that the game simply will not launch. When i click it after install, it says running for a second in steam then stops working. Unlike other steam games it does not do the first launch setup (running the VC redist and DX install automatically)

Empire Total War Zulu Mod

i have tried launching in steam beta
i have tried running as administrator
i have allowed access into firewall for the program
i have tried compatibility mode for Windows 8 and 7
I have tried verifying game cache - it always says 1 file failed to validate and would be reaquired (but never is) Unity.
i have tried manually running VC redist and DX via the game files
Best Napoleon Total War Mods
i have tried using the preference.script.txt file from the Zulu mod in my own script folder (which was empty) with the gfx first run set to both true and false.
i have deleted the app data and steam folder then uninstalled and reinstalled from steam
i have used ccleaner to wipe residual files
Now, I have tried dozens of different solutions but nothing seems to work (see above for some of them). If you have any ideas, please reply.
