The most noticeable flaw is control. It's poor in game (even with a bunch of different configurations), and in the menu. To advance in the menus you have to press +, A, and 1 buttons in sequence. It's as though each part of the interface was done by a separate person that didn't talk to anyone else on the team. Once you're in a game, the default control has grenades set to motion control. If you've ever played a metal slug, you'd know that these games are hard, and require split second reactions. There isn't time to shake the controller up and down. Fortunately there's 1 control setup that uses the gamecube controller. But with just 3 buttons, it's baffling why they couldn't have used 3 buttons on the wiimote. The second MAJOR flaw is the infinite lives and continues. There's zero penalty for dying, which makes all the games unrewarding. There is an option to turn off unlimited continues, but that's like choosing to let the timer run out after your 3rd continue. Do you have the dicipline to do it? Struggling to see the crazy huge boss in level 3 isn't as exciting if your 5 year old brother can easily get there and beat him without even trying. It's a shame that a great set of games is ruined by 2 easily fixable things.…Full Review »

About:Metal Slug Anthology is a video game compilation for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and Wii. The Wii version boasts different controller configurations, most taking advantage of the Wii Remote. Controversially, the Classic Controller is not supported. The game also marks the return of SNK Playmore as a third-party developer for a Nintendo console since the NES era.
For the PS2 and Wii versions, the graphics are exactly the same as the original versions released (e.g. arcade, Neo Geo, and the more recent titles published on PS2 and Xbox). The PSP version has a wireless ad hoc mode so that two people can play together and work as a team, however cooperative gameplay is still enabled on the console versions of the game.

I picked this up yesterday (having seen the Daniel Ibbertson's Metal Slug: The Complete History - SGR video posted just last week). I was a fan of the game back in the day and was convinced to grab it.
However, the anthology on PS4 has horrendous input lag. Anywhere from half a second to a full second to do, literally, anything (moving, shooting, jumping). Considering the kind of game Metal Slug is and the precision required for this chaotic side scrolling shooter, the game is absurdly unplayable.

Looking further into it, apparently this is a direct port of the PS2 version which also had this awful lag and it's only compounded the problem since (being an emulation of an emulation). Yet the game is sitting at 78 on Metacritic (which the game's wiki pointing to the PSP version, saying it had a generally positive reception).
I managed to get a refund from Sony support (after being on the phone for over an hour) but just as a warning to everyone out there: don't go by the critical reviews; look this up thoroughly. Metal Slug is a fantastic series but this version is such a shit port. MS1, 2, 4, and 6 especially.
Stay away.
Brother mfc hang at please wait. Apr 01, 2013 SOURCE: Problems with Brother MFC-7820N Laser Printer turns itself off I just had same issue, it shared an outlet with a large volume work group copier, I unplugged it, opened and closed all compartments to make sure something open was not causing issues. To clear the 'Please Wait' message from your Brother machine's display, follow these steps: 1. Verify the machine's power cord is directly connected to an AC power outlet. If the power cord is connected to a surge protector or power switch, remove the cord from that device, wait one minute, and connect it directly to the AC power outlet. If the machine display is stuck on Please Wait, go to Step 1. If the machine keeps restarting or recycling and is displaying Please wait for few second before machine restarts, follow solution Machine keeps powering off or restarting.
